FlooMB™ mixed bed process
The strong acid cation exchanger removes all positive ions (NH4, Ca, Mg, K and Na) from the feed water by exchanging H+. The strong base anion exchanger removes negative ions (SO4, Cl, NO3, CO2 and SiO2). Very clean compressed air is needed for the mixing of the cation and anion resins. For even distribution of the caustic, a distribution system is located just above the resin surface. The ion exchange resins are of special grade mixed bed resins in order to achieve good separation and complete mixing during the regeneration, low pressure drop and low ion leakages during operation.
A sodium analyzer and a silicometer can be installed for final rinse monitoring and operation.
